Diagnostic Service Calls

Palm Harbor Heating and Air Conditioning will perform service calls between 8:00AM and 5:00pm seven days a week.  A full diagnostic will be performed on your system to determine the reason for malfunction. All non-warranty service calls will be subjected to a $69.95 Diagnostic Charge.

Palm Harbor Heating and Air Conditioning will never charge an overtime surcharge on diagnostic service calls performed after standard operating hours! Service calls placed after 5:00 pm will be dispatched by a 24-hour answering service

First Year In-Warranty Calls

When you purchase an air conditioning system through our company, your new system comes with a one year standard labor warranty furnished through Palm Harbor Heating and Air Conditioning. Through this warranty, there will be no charge for most service related issues, excluding user error or preexisting conditions, non-dealer installed ductwork, drain lines, outside power sources and existing copper lines.  

Extended Warranty Service Calls through Equiguard, Carrier, or Trane

Equiguard, Carrier, and Trane extended warranties make specific exclusions in their warranty paper work. Palm Harbor Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. will charge a standard diagnostic charge as well as repair charge for all repairs found outside of the extended warranty coverage. Exclusions are related to any non-related repairs outside of the specific serial numbered equipment, and typically exclude drain lines, non-dealer installed ductwork, outside power sources, and existing copper lines.  Proof of warranty is required when service work is done outside of the normal operating hours of  8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
